Thank You for Considering Surrogacy and Giving Us Hope!
Hello! My husband, Tony, and I (Greta), want to first thank you for considering surrogacy and giving us hope to grow our family.
A little bit about us:
We currently live in Plymouth, MN with our sweet little dog, Luna. She is a 20 pound, goofy and full of personality, “super mutt.” We rescued her 3 years ago and have loved every minute of being dog parents, but are beyond ready and excited to become parents to a little human.
Tony is a small business owner of a lock and security company in the metro area and I work as a family nurse practitioner at a primary care clinic.
Faith, family, and friends are most important to us, and Tony would throw golf into that mix as well. We are the proud aunt and uncle of five (almost six) nieces and nephews – including a set of triplets!
We are working with Hope Surrogacy:
I am unable to safely carry a baby due to my chronic health issues. I was diagnosed with leukemia in my teenage years, requiring a bone marrow transplant. This included high doses of chemotherapy and total body irradiation. The side effects of treatment put me into premature menopause.
I always knew having biological children would not be an option. At the time, there was hope that I could carry a baby. However, in 2019, I began having rejection issues from my transplant requiring medications that are not safe to take with pregnancy.
We had many discussions about future children:
Adoption versus fostering versus egg donor and surrogacy. Our hearts guided us to the decision of using an egg donor and surrogate. Last year, my sister donated her eggs and we have seven beautiful, perfect, embryos.
We are beyond excited for the future and want to sincerely thank you for the amazing gift of surrogacy. -Greta
