How Much do Surrogates in Wisconsin Make?

How Much Do Surrogates Make? $50,000 - 70,000

By working with a professional surrogacy agency in Madison, Wisconsin, you can be sure you are being compensated fairly for your generosity and the risk involved in carrying a baby. The compensation pays for your risk in carrying the pregnancy, and the sacrifice you are making in your own personal life to do it.

Surrogacy agencies all have different compensation models. At Hope Surrogacy, we allow our surrogates to set their own rates. The base compensation rate that we recommend surrogates request is between $35,000 and $40,000.

The surrogate also gets paid additional compensation based on a number of factors. That means that the total compensation a surrogate may receive is between $60,000 and $70,000.

What Makes Wisconsin So Special?

  • Our People:

Wisconsinites are the salt of the earth—grounded, generous, and proud of their roots. Known for our strong work ethic, neighborly spirit, and unwavering loyalty (especially when it comes to football), we rally around our communities through thick and thin. From small towns to bustling cities, there’s a shared sense of purpose and pride in making Wisconsin a safe, welcoming place to raise the next generation.

  • Our Lakes and Rivers:

With more than 15,000 inland lakes and two Great Lakes—Michigan and Superior—Wisconsin is a freshwater paradise. Families grow up fishing off piers, kayaking calm waters, and soaking up the simple joy of a day at the lake. Whether it’s the summer tradition of heading “up north” or winter weekends spent ice fishing, life in Wisconsin is deeply tied to water and the memories made beside it.

  • Our Natural Beauty:

Wisconsin’s landscapes are as diverse as they are breathtaking. Rolling farmland, thick pine forests, sandstone cliffs, and the iconic Driftless Area offer something for every outdoor enthusiast. Autumn paints our hills in gold and crimson, while winters bring snow-covered adventures and cozy cabin getaways. It’s a four-season state with year-round opportunities for wonder and play.

  • Our Love of Sports and Tradition:

In Wisconsin, football is practically a second religion—and Lambeau Field is our temple. But beyond the Packers, we’re a state that supports high school rivalries, youth hockey tournaments, college sports, and local leagues with heart and enthusiasm. Tailgates, cheese dip, Friday night lights, and family traditions around the big game bring communities together in ways that last a lifetime.

  • Our Food and Festivals:

From fresh cheese curds to Friday fish fries, Wisconsin knows how to eat well and celebrate together. Our state fair, local cheese fests, and supper clubs bring generations together over hearty meals and good stories. And let’s not forget our brewing legacy—Wisconsin is home to a thriving craft beer scene and iconic brands alike.

  • Our Heritage and Heart:

A proud mix of Scandinavian, German, Polish, and Hmong heritage infuses Wisconsin with a deep cultural richness. From polka halls to harvest festivals, our traditions are woven into the fabric of everyday life. That mix of old-world charm and modern values creates a warm, inclusive environment to grow a family.
