A family hopes to make their dream of a third child come true!

One Family’s Story of Hope

One Family’s Story of Hope

A family hopes to make their dream of a third child come true!

After years of IVF and multiple losses due to unexplained secondary infertility, they have turned to surrogacy. Here is a small portion of their story:

From the intended mother:

We are reflecting back on what led us to this moment. After getting pregnant easily with our two boys, only 20 months apart, we never imagined we would have an issue continuing to grow our family.

I think about things like our baby car seat expiring, my box of maternity clothes sitting gathering dust, and our closets full of baby stuff that I can’t bring myself to get rid of because I can’t give up hope!

So after three years of repeated disappointment and heartbreak and loss, we find ourselves here, and more than anything we are grateful for this opportunity to have our next child through surrogacy.

Some people have asked us, “Your two kids aren’t enough?” That’s a tough question to answer. Of course they are enough! We love them with our hearts and souls and every fiber of our beings. But perhaps BECAUSE we love them so much, because they are everything we could ever dream of, we don’t want to give up on bringing another wonderful child into the world. We want them to have another sibling, we want a bigger family, with more love, more chaos and noise.

To our future surrogate:

We promise to do everything we can to make this process and this relationship as amazing and special and wonderful as it can be. We hope that this is the beginning of a lifelong relationship, and that we can get to know you and your family just as well as you will get to know ours.

If we are lucky enough to grow our family and have a third baby, we hope you will remain a part of its life, as you will always be a part of his or her story. It is hard to know that there will be no photos of that baby on my chest after a c-section like we have with my sons, but this baby will have a unique story of his or her own. We hope we can foster a relationship that reflects how special you will always be to us for giving us this hope and this chance.
