Meet The Kevins, They are Ready to Start their Family
Meet Kevin O. and Kevin B. (a.k.a The Kevins). This fun-loving, hard-working couple is ready to start their family. The Kevins have been a couple for 14 years and married for three. While initially from Michigan and Arizona, the Kevins met while Kevin O. was interviewing for his pediatric residency. They currently live in St. Louis, Missouri, where Kevin O. serves as the CMIO at St. Louis Children’s Hospital, and Kevin B. is a Senior Product Manager with Centene Corporation. Throughout their relationship, they have traveled the world, designed their home (and built their own garage together during the pandemic), acquired a cooking hobby, and parented four dogs.
Our Family:
We built our home in Botanical Heights in St. Louis in 2017, where we have three dogs, Buddy, Oma, and Chidi. Buddy is a 13-year-old pug-beagle mix and a bit of a stubborn old man. Oma and Chidi are our adorable, loveable toddlers of 1 year and are both Bernese Mountain dogs who love nothing more than to cuddle up on the couch next to you.
They Love to Travel
Despite our busy work schedules, we have managed to accomplish some fantastic trips to Europe and Mexico, both as a couple and with our close friends. We both have a love of travel, culture, and new adventures with stories to share. We love celebrating cultures and communities like Munich’s Christmas Markets and Berlin’s New Year’s celebrations to Prague’s incredible Easter Markets and fantastic street food in Athens – all while meeting new people and building new friendships along the way.
Some cool random facts about the Kevins:
- We built our own two-car garage during COVID, learning how to frame walls from YouTube videos and how-to books. It looks great and is still standing strong.
- Kevin B. loves technology. He hopes to one day finish his app to help labor organizations and employers facilitate better relationships.
- Kevin O. has taken up cooking and gardening. He now plays chef to our friends for great meals and even better company.
- Kevin B. can’t get enough of the mountains and starry nights. He hopes to retire someplace where you can see all the stars every night.
- Kevin O. enjoys sports, HGTV, and cooking shows. He coached swimming, soccer, and volleyball in his younger days.
Their next long-awaited adventure is parenthood. Their journey to parenthood has been long, thoughtful, and well-supported by their family and friends. For years, they have talked about their future children with a passion that is undeniable. The Kevins are so thankful to have surrogacy as an option to start their family.
